Conformance

TLEdit is fully compliant with the latest version of ETSI TS 102 231 V3.1.2 (2009-12) standard plus the COMMISSION DECISION of 16.10.2009, setting out measures facilitating the use of procedures by electronic means through the "points of single contact" under Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on services in the internal market (C(2009)7806 final) plus the TSL Plug-Tests 23-26/11/2009 F2F meeting report plus COMMISSION DECISION of 28.07.2010, amending Decision 2009/767/EC as regards the establishment, maintenance and publication of trusted lists of certification service providers supervised/accredited by Member States (C(2010) 5063).

TLEdit establishes Trusted List in a “human readable” PDF/A form as it has been defined in the ISO 19005-1 Standard for using PDF format for the long-term archiving of electronic documents.

TLEdit produces also a "machine processable" XML form which would allow automated information retrieval.
The software offers XML validation of the content against XML schemas:
  • ts_102231v030102_xsd.xsd
  • ts_102231v030102_sie_xsd.xsd
  • ts_102231v030102_additionaltypes_xsd.xsd
  • xmldsig-core-schema.xsd
  • XAdES_1_3_2.xsd

Interoperability

TLEdit on ETSI Trusted List Plugtest. The event had been evaluated Trusted List interoperability by focusing on all the different Trusted List forms. Here were two different targets drawn up:
  • Trusted List Lifecycle Management Tests: Allowing each Member State to test the publishing and lifecycle management of the Trusted List implementation of their Trusted List.
  • Trusted List Interoperability Tests: The purpose of this test is to validate the simulated use of the Trusted Lists TSL implementations in cross-border use (validation) of qualified electronic signatures and advanced signatures based on qualified certificates.

Five times on ETSI XAdES Plugtest. Polysys CryptoSigno Interop JAVA API, the security module of TLEdit, had been successfully participated on these events, in evaluating XAdES interoperability by focusing on all the different XAdES forms standardized in ETSI. CryptoSigno Interop is fully compliant with all the different XAdES forms standardized in ETSI TS 101 903, including XAdES-BES, XAdES-EPES, XAdES-T, XAdES-C, XAdES-X Type 1, XAdES-X Type 2, XAdES-XL and XAdES-A.
TLEdit on ETSI PAdES Plugtest. The security module of TLEdit had been successfully participated on the first PAdES Plugtest event from 24th November to 19th December 2011. This testing have provided full test coverage of the specification ETSI 102 778 including signature evolution, simulating real life situations.

The test suite was defined with four different layers reflecting the multipart structure of PAdES:
• Part 2: "PAdES Basic - Profile based on ISO 32000-1" (ETSI 102 778-2 v1.2.1)
• Part 3: "PAdES Enhanced - PAdES-BES and PAdES-EPES Profiles"; (ETSI 102 778-3 v1.1.2)
• Part 4: "PAdES Long Term - PAdES-LTV Profile"; (ETSI 102 778-4 v1.1.2)
• Part 5: "PAdES for XML Content - Profiles for XAdES signature (ETSI 102 778-5 v1.1.2)
